Winter Schedule

October until March

Here at Big Bear ATV Canoe and Kayak we go hard through the autumn months clear, crisp days, beautiful fall colors and come snowfall, usually in December we put the big boots or chains on the ATV's and go harder. We keep the snow packed down to our two favorite lakes, (think of a motorized luge course) about 25 kilometers of it. We can't go much off the trails but who cares. If the lake ice is right we do some fun stuff once we get there and it is always fun afterwards to sit by the lake in front of a crackling fire and eat barbecued bratwurst on a bun!

This trip will be 3-4 hours: $160 plus tax.

Snow Season

For a run through the forest like no other?

Come along for a 2hour trip (on snow shoes or if you prefer your own cross country skis) as my dogs and I hike to the upper meadow – start a fire and have hot chocolate and a good bratwurst on a bun and enjoy the enchanting winter landscape. After this you are in for a fun ride you' ll always remember because you hop on the dogsled and down the mountain we go! $125 plus tax for a day you'll never forget.

You like quiet and privacy while you snow shoe or cross country ski?

We have numerous Dog sled packed trails through beautiful forest settings. A map and our famous Schnitzel sandwich will accompany you: $45 plus tax.

Annual Big Boy Ride - ATV

July 7th and 8th, 2012

Our Annual Big Boy Ride. Two day over night ATV ride to the headwaters of Kettle River with a few country boys.

Day one: Ride approx. 60 km with intermittent stops for snacks and beverages , then set up camp along the river, swim, barbeque and party and have an all around good time.
Day two: Get up to our camp fire breakfast and coffee. When everybody is ready , off we go to three old mine sites (you bet, us country boys crawl in the holes), take in a couple of pretty lakes, then ride on back. We'll run support vehicles for our overnight gear. Camaraderie and the ongoing humor make this trip an unforgettable journey.

Price: CAD $495 plus tax per person (included: ATV, tent, sleeping bag and thermarest, all fuel, food, fire and fun).
